Are the published routes exactly what I will be tested on?

This is probably the most common question we get. We do our very best to keep our maps up to date, but ultimately, there is variation between testers and even between the routes taken by the same tester in one day. In the vast majority of cases in our experience, the route you will taken on is exactly the same or with very slight variations.

Can I have access to a GPS version so I can practice on my own?

Absolutely! You can order them from the site.

How do you guys have access to those maps? Is it legal?

The maps are either collected by us or user-submitted. It is perfectly legal as routes are not secret: driving schools are familiar with them and will, in fact, charge you to take you on the route.

Who owns the copyright to those maps? Can I share it on my website?

Google Maps owns the copyright to most map images we display. The routes themselves are the website's intellectual property. If you would like to share on your own website, please contact us first.

Who are you guys?

We are a very small, family-owned business. How small are we you wonder? We are so small we are not even required to collect GST/HST on purchases from the site. Whatever you buy helps us keep running the site to the benefit of everyone wishing to get their license in Ontario without spending a small fortune.
